Spectators will receive a numbered ticket each that entitles them for a lucky draw and games where they stand a chance to win the RM3,000 gift voucher grand prize, plus another RM3,000 worth of gift vouchers.
Before the match, the audience will be entertained by a line-up of local bands such as Polar, United Kids of Oi!, Crashing Butterfliez, Akur, Love Comes and Faces.
Bintang Bola ERA team is made up of local celebrities, members of Evenstarr and Crashing Butterfliez, Herman of hitz.fm and selected ERA fm listeners to form a team of 50 players.
“The Bintang Bola ERA participants are clearly ardent football players and fans of the sport. The organisers are very thrilled to see the outcome of the selection and proud to see such aspiring footballers out there. This is one sport almost everyone can relate to,” said Football Association of Sarawak (FAS) president Datu Sudarsono Osman.
The selection trials for Bintang Bola ERA was conducted by its coach Mohd Ali Sapiee, Sarawak’s very own football great who donned the state colour for a number of seasons.
Ali said that he was honoured to be chosen as the coach.
“I believe this event is a very good opportunity to reignite the passion for FAS and the sport itself,” he pointed out.
ERA fm is also giving out exclusive VIP passes to fans where winners are entitled to VIP parking, goodie bags and a chance to join in the post party where they get to meet and greet the players and the bands, as well as enjoying the tea provided by the F&B sponsor, Everybread.
