Safee Belum buat keputusan

PENYERANG kebangsaan, Mohd Safee Sali tidak menolak sebarang kemungkinan untuk meninggalkan Indonesia jika persatuan bola sepak negara itu dikenakan hukuman penggantungan oleh badan induk bola sepak antarabangsa Fifa.
Katanya, dia akan menunggu keputusan yang akan dikeluarkan Fifa mengenai isu itu sebelum membuat keputusan mengenai kariernya bersama kelab Pelita Jaya FC dalam Liga Super Indonesia (ISL).

“Mengenai masalah PSSI (Persatuan Sepak Bola Seluruh Indonesia), saya masih menunggu keputusan yang akan dikeluarkan Fifa. Sekarang saya tengah fikir mengenai masa depan tapi kena tunggu keputusan mengenai hukuman itu dulu,” katanya yang berpindah dari Selangor ke Pelita Jaya Februari lalu.
Masalah dalaman yang gagal diselesaikan PSSI menyebabkan mereka dijangka akan digantung daripada terbabit daripada menyertai sebarang kejohanan bola sepak antarabangsa termasuk pusingan kelayakan Piala Dunia serta Sukan Sea yang dianjurkan di Palembang November ini.

Sekiranya dihukum, PSSI masih boleh terus menganjurkan liga tempatan namun reputasinya pasti sudah terjejas apatah lagi tanpa pengiktirafan badan induk bola sepak antarabangsa.

Ditanya mengenai kemungkinan akan kembali ke pangkuan pasukan tempatan selepas tamat musim di Indonesia, Safee berkata, dia masih berharap untuk dapat mengembangkan karier di luar negara.

“Selagi boleh saya mahu terus kekal (di Indonesia), kalau tak boleh mungkin saya akan cuba bersama pasukan lain di negara jiran,” katanya yang menyumbat enam gol dalam sembilan perlawanan untuk Pelita Jaya.

Safee pulang ke tanah air selepas mendapat panggilan jurulatih kebangsaan K Rajagobal untuk menyertai latihan pusat bermula semalam bersama dengan 23 pemain lain bagi menghadapi perlawanan persahabatan dengan Hong Kong Jumaat ini.
